The Strategy is Ours. The Autonomy is Yours.

A Collective of Experts-by-Experience.

A Collective of Experts-by-Experience We are not a clinic. We are a group of disabled professionals, clergy, psychologists, executives, and specialists who have traded the boardroom for the "Arsenal" . We roll alongside our peers to help them dismantle the barriers of a broken system and reclaim their autonomy.

Our Approach: Adaptive Advocacy

Support is most effective when it comes from someone who actually "gets it". We don’t follow the typical path; we’ve built a system designed around shared grit and real-world solutions.

  • Zero Clinical Red Tape: We don't provide therapy or medication; we provide roadmaps.

  • Barrier-Free: We meet you in your space: Video, Text, or Email. No offices, no commutes.

  • Spoon-Aware: We operate on an adaptive schedule that respects your energy and ours.

Founded on the Spirit of Saint Padre Alberto Hurtado, SJ

Founded on the Spirit of Saint Padre Alberto Hurtado, SJ

Our work is a direct response to Matthew 25 and the legacy of St. Alberto Hurtado, a Jesuit lawyer and priest who famously sought out those the system ignored. Following the tradition of the Old-Catholic Church, we believe that professional advocacy is a work of mercy.

We champion the innate dignity and right to autonomy for every individual facing systemic neglect. We believe that "True charity begins where justice ends".

Our Front Porch: A Table for Everyone

All are Welcome. Period. At the Saint Padre Alberto Hurtado Advisory, we don't just "accept" diversity; we celebrate it as a sacred reflection of the human family. Our mission is built on the belief that dignity belongs to everyone, regardless of where you’ve been, who you love, or what you believe.

  • Rooted in Justice (The Legal Anchor): In the spirit of California’s Unruh Civil Rights Act, we provide full and equal access to our peer advocacy and accompaniment. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy and gender identity), sexual orientation, national origin, ancestry, age, marital status, military or veteran status, or genetic information.

  • Our Commitment to Accessibility: Because we believe access is a right, not a privilege, we strive to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA digital standards. We are committed to ensuring our "Digital Green Truck" is accessible to neighbors with visual, auditory, or motor impairments. If you find a part of our site that is a "hot mess" and hard to use, please tell us, we will fix it.

  • The "No Wrong Door" Promise: We are a small, volunteer-led collective, and we recognize our limits. However, we promise this: We will never leave you stranded. If we do not have the specific expert or the physical bandwidth to help you directly, we will use our "Arsenal" to help you find the resources you need for free.

We are a volunteer collective operating under Social Security Act (SGA) Regulations. All volunteers undergo background checks (California ICRAA) and are mandatory reporters (CA W&I Code § 15630). We provide peer-led advocacy, mentorship, and navigation; we are not licensed medical or legal professionals and do not provide legal or medical advice (CA Bus. & Prof. Code § 6125). All fiduciary and advocacy roles are subject to specific state laws and collective capacity.
